PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated in 2019 from Carlsbad High School, where he was a teammate of fellow Aztec freshman Drew Sommers … Earned three varsity letters for head coach Jake Savicki … Saw action at multiple positions during his prep career, playing in 74 games to go with 13 pitching appearances … Helped the Lancers to three consecutive berths in the CIF San Diego Section playoffs … Was rated as the No. 12 third baseman in the class of 2019 for the state of California by Perfect Game … Chosen to compete for the Yankees scout team during the fall of 2018.
