2022 SEASON (As A Sophomore): Saw action in 22 games out of the bullpen, compiling a 1-1 record with a 5.89 ERA … Countered 19 walks with 30 strikeouts in 36 2/3 innings … Notched his first career save after pitching the final three innings of SDSU’s 7-1 triumph over Hawai’i at the Tony Gwynn Legacy, scattering three hits and a walk while fanning a pair of batters (2-25-22) … Posted a season-high four strikeouts in a two-inning stint vs. UNLV (3-11-22) … Tossed a season-long four innings at San José State (3-19-22) … Was credited with the victory after the Aztecs outlasted New Mexico 14-13 in the second game of a weekend road series, offsetting two runs on four hits with a trio of strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings, as the Scarlet and Black completed its first sweep in Albuquerque since 1990 (4-15-22) … Gave up just one walk in a scoreless two-inning appearance vs. Stanford (4-24-22) … Also produced consecutive spotless outings at Fresno State (1/3 inning, 5-1-22) and vs. CSUN (1.0 innings, 5-4-22) … Surrendered just one hit in 2 2/3 scoreless innings against Nevada (5-15-22).

2021 SEASON (As A Redshirt Freshman): Made 16 appearances with seven starts, posting a 4-2 record with a 6.62 ERA … Made seven starts, posting a 4-2 record with a 6.62 ERA in 50.1 innings … Led the Mountain West with just 10 walks issued while ranking sixth in strikeouts (53) and ninth in both earned runs (37) and hits allowed (72) …His walks allowed are the fewest in program history with a minimum of 50 innings pitched in a single season .... Recorded multiple strikeouts in 13 of his 16 games and did not yield a walk in eight outings … Pitched four innings but did not pick up a decision in his first collegiate start vs. UNLV, as the Aztecs rallied for an 8-6 triumph (3-14-21) … Earned his first two victories of the year in consecutive starts at San José State (3-28-21) and vs. New Mexico (4-3-21) … Struck out a career-best eight batters in a season-high 6.1 innings vs. the Spartans before fanning six more batters against the Lobos … Tossed six scoreless innings in a win over Dixie State, scattering five hits while recording an additional six strikeouts (4-25-21) … Entered from the bullpen in his last four appearances … Countered three hits with five strikeouts in 3.0 innings at UNLV (5-16-21) … Was credited with the victory in the season finale at New Mexico despite allowing four runs on five hits and one walk in 1.1 innings, as the Aztecs held on in a nail-biter, 11-10 (5-29-21).

2020 SEASON (As A Freshman): Pitched in three games out of the bullpen, posting a 1-0 record without yielding an earned run in 5.1 innings … Made his Aztec debut vs. UNC Greensboro at the Brittain Resorts Baseball by the Beach tournament in Conway, South Carolina, allowing one hit, one walk and one unearned run in 1.1 innings (2-16-20) … Gave up a hit in one inning of work in the series opener vs. Oregon State (2-27-20) … Notched his first victory in a Scarlet and Black uniform after yielding two hits and two unearned runs in a season-high 3.0 innings, helping SDSU to a 7-2 triumph vs. Long Beach State (3-3-20).    

PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Won three varsity letters at nearby Eastlake High School for head coach David Gallegos … Played for the same prep program that produced current Aztecs Casey Schmitt and Tre Brown … Received all-Metro Mesa League recognition … Helped the Titans capture a pair of CIF San Diego Section Open Division Championships … Compiled a stellar 22-3 record and a 0.32 ERA in 172.1 innings during his high school career, according to MaxPreps … Also posted two saves as a junior.

PERSONAL: Born in San Diego, California … Son of Richard Tibbett and Carla Hinojosa … Pitched for the Eastlake Little League team that finished as the runner-up at the 2013 LLWS in Williamsport, Pennsylvania ...
