PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated in 2023 from Central High School in Fresno, California, where he earned two varsity letters for head coach Mitch Mulligan… Slashed .297/.325/.432 as a junior, belting one homer with seven doubles and 22 RBIs, according to MaxPreps… Received Tri-River Athletic Conference honorable mention that year… Made 10 pitching appearances with two starts as a senior, posting a 1-3 record with a 6.83 ERA and one save… Struck out 26 batters in 27.2 innings… Served as team captain both seasons… Played his first two years of prep baseball at Clovis West High School in 2020 and 2021… Was a member of a Golden Eagles squad that advanced to the quarterfinals of the CIF Central Section Division I playoffs during his sophomore campaign… Earned all-tournament honors after helping his PFA Central Valley Braves club team capture the 2022 Perfect Game 18U Las Vegas Summer Series title… Also received the same distinction as a member of the CBA Marlins at the 2022 17U PG West Elite Championships in Stockton, California… Landed on the top prospect list at Perfect Game’s Northern California Workout Showcase, which was also held in Stockton earlier that year.
