PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated in 2023 from McKeel Academy of Technology in his hometown of Lakeland, Florida, where he won three varsity letters for head coach Ron Nipper… Batted .329 with two homers, 48 RBIs and 81 runs scored during his career, according to MaxPreps…  Also finished with a .956 OPS, smacking 12 doubles and six triples as a prep to go with 34 stolen bases… Led the Wildcats to consecutive 4A District 9 championships and a pair of FHSAA regional semifinal appearances… Posted a .365 batting average and a 1.222 OPS as a senior to go with 20 RBIs and 36 runs scored… Batted .366 and logged a .944 OPS as a junior, totaling a career-high 30 hits, including four doubles and a pair of triples while scoring 27 runs… Received an invitation to play in the Polk County High School All-Star Game, as well as the FHSAA State All-Star Game… Was rated 14th among shortstops in Florida for the 2023 graduating class by Perfect Game and was slotted 69th in the state overall… Also earned a spot on the website’s Top 500 list of national recruits, ranking 105th for shortstops across the country… Additionally received a player grade of 9 by Perfect Game and was rated as a top 10 draft pick… Garnered second-team preseason all-region accolades for Florida by Perfect Game prior to the 2023 campaign after meriting honorable mention as an underclassman the previous three years… Played two seasons at shortstop for the FTB Phillies scout team… Competed for several other club programs, including the CFL Wolf Pack, Birdman Bats and Midland Swarm Savages… Earned a spot on a dozen all-tournament teams at Perfect Game-sponsored events, including the 2023 17U National Elite Championship in Hoover, Alabama… Also helped his FTB Phillies squad advance to the round of 16 out of 418 teams at the 2023 WWBA 2024 Grads or 17U National Championship in Marietta, Georgia… Was named to the Top Prospect list at the 2023 Perfect Game High School Showcase in Sanford, Florida… Along with his playing success, he excelled in the classroom as a prep, graduating summa cum laude.
