2024 SEASON AT BIOLA: Made 28 starts in 36 appearances, hitting .295 with one home run and 12 RBIs… Scored 19 runs and swiped six bases in seven attempts… Set a career high with three hits in a narrow 8-7 setback at Westmont in 10 innings (2-24-24)… Finished with two hits on six other occasions, including three straight games from March 16-22… Went deep with a two-run bomb in the Hawks’ 14-7 romp over Hawaii Pacific (3-27-24)… Also drove in two runs in three additional games, including Biola’s 9-0 triumph over No. 4 Point Loma Nazarene in the regular-season finale (4-27-24).

2023 SEASON AT BIOLA: Started 29 of 32 games, batting .253 (22-87) with one homer, 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored… Led the team with 14 stolen bases in 17 attempts and ranked third with a .381 on-base percentage… Drove in the winning run after he was struck by a pitch with the bases loaded vs. Point Loma Nazarene in the second game of a doubleheader (3-18-23)…Went yard with a two-run blast at the Sea Lions’ home park two days later for his first collegiate round-tripper (3-20-23)… Collected multiple hits in seven games, including a 2-for-3 effort in a victory over Holy Names in the opener of a twin bill (4-28-23)… Also swiped a career-high three bases in that contest vs. the Hawks.

2022 SEASON AT BIOLA: Played in 13 games with one start, batting .375 (3-8) with one RBI and one run scored… Made his collegiate debut in the first game of a season-opening doubleheader at Cal State Monterey Bay (2-4-22)… Received his first career start in the nightcap of a twin bill vs. Cal State L.A. (2-19-22)… Notched his first collegiate hit vs. Concordia, Irvine (4-8-22) and drove in his first career run at Point Loma Nazarene (4-16-22).

2021 SEASON AT BIOLA: Did not compete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2020 from Los Osos High School where he split time between the outfield and second base for head coach Travis Kelly… Ranked among the top-15 high school hitters in the San Gabriel Valley with a .476 batting average as a senior during the shortened 2020 campaign, adding eight RBIs and nine runs scored… Helped the Grizzlies compile a 17-10 overall record and secure a spot in the CIF Southern Section Division III players as a junior in 2019… Earned scholar-athlete honors and was named to his school’s honor roll all four years.

PERSONAL: Born in Upland, California… Son of Kenneth and Angela Smith… His father played in the minor leagues with the Phillies, Blue Jays and Cardinals organizations from 1981-84… Lists Adam Jones as his favorite baseball player… Enjoys playing golf, basketball, jet skiing and surfing… Aspires to play professional baseball or work for the FBI.
