2025 SEASON AT OREGON STATE (As a Sophomore): Played in 16 games with three starts, collecting three hits in 15 at-bats (.200) with three walks, four RBIs and two runs scored… Started at second base in the Beavers’ 8-3 home victory over Gonzaga, recording his first career hit and RBI with a single in the fourth inning before drawing a walk and ultimately crossing the plate in the sixth (4-22-25)…Also set a collegiate best with seven fielding assists against the Zags… Made a season-high two putouts at Oregon (4-26-25)… Brought home a run after getting by a pitch in the top of the 10th in OSU’s 6-6 tie at Iowa (5-11-25)… Plated two runs with his first collegiate double in the top of the ninth and eventually scored in the Beavers’ 20-3 romp over Saint Mary’s in game three of the NCAA Corvallis Regional (6-1-25).

2024 SEASON AT OREGON STATE (As a Freshman): Saw action in 12 games, drawing two walks and scoring four runs… Made his collegiate debut in the season opener against New Mexico at the College Baseball Classic in Surprise, Arizona (2-16-24)… Scored his first career run in OSU’s 10-0 home shutout of North Dakota State after entering as pinch runner in the eighth inning (3-2-24)… Raced home on a passed ball as a pinch runner in the Beavers’ 8-6 home victory over CSUN (3-8-24)… Provided the final tally in a five-run ninth-inning outburst, helping OSU to a 7-5 comeback win in its Pac-12 opener at Utah (3-15-24)… Drew a walk and scored in the Beavers’ big 18-2 triumph at home over Washington (3-23-24)… Also set a career high with two fielding assists against the Huskies… Entered as a pinch runner against Kentucky in the second game of the NCAA Lexington Super Regional (6-9-24).

PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated in 2023 from Lakeridge High School in his hometown of Lake Oswego, Oregon, where he helped the Pacers to consecutive semifinal appearances in the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) Class 6A State Championship… Garnered first-team all-state accolades and received first-team all-conference recognition as a junior after hitting .465 with a .568 on-base percentage, one home run and five doubles… Also swiped 10 bases that season… Was rated as the No. 3 shortstop prospect in Oregon for the 2023 high school graduating class and 10th player in the state overall by Perfect Game… Played for the Baseball Northwest club program.

PERSONAL: Born in Oregon City, Oregon… Son of Renee and Chomo Santana… Parents were both student-athletes at Oregon State… His mother was a two-time All-America gymnast for the Beavers, while his father competed on the wrestling team... Has two brothers, Spencer and Sean, and one sister, Erin.
