2020 SEASON AT SADDLEBACK COLLEGE (As A Sophomore): Played one year at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California, helping the Gauchos to a 16-5 record before the remainder of 2020 campaign was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Batted .395 with two home runs, 14 RBIs, 26 runs scored and eight stolen bases … Also compiled a .500 on-base percentage and a .617 slugging percentage … Finished with multiple hits in six games, including five apiece vs. Santa Barbara City College (2-1-20) and Palomar College (2-18-20) … Also matched his season high with three runs scored in that latter contest against the Comets after crossing the plate three times in earlier games vs. San Diego City College (1-25-20) and Cuesta College (2-13-20) … Homered, tripled and scored twice in what proved to be his last game at Saddleback in the Gauchos’ 8-4 triumph over Cypress (3-11-20).
2019 SEASON AT BYU (As A Freshman): Started 29 of 33 games at shortstop in his lone season with the Cougars, batting .250 with two home runs and 17 RBIs … Scored 16 runs and added four stolen bases … Posted a .306 on-base percentage and a .350 slugging percentage … Made his collegiate debut a memorable one with a 2-for-3 effort at the plate and a pair of runs scored, including the game winner in the 10th inning, as BYU edged Northwestern, 4-3, in the season opener (2-15-19) … Notched a career-high four RBIs the following day vs. the Wildcats, lacing a two-run double and a two-run single in the Cougars’ 11-2 romp in the second game of a doubleheader (2-16-19) … Stole his first collegiate base in a 4-2 win over Lamar (2-28-19) … Smacked a two-run triple in BYU’s 14-6 triumph over Milwaukee in a snow-shortened game (3-8-19) … Recorded multiple hits in six games, including a 3-for-5 performance at San Diego, highlighted by a two-run dinger for his first career home run (4-4-19) … Also went yard with a solo shot in the Cougars’ 10-3 victory at Loyola Marymount (5-4-19).
