2021 SEASON (As A Redshirt Sophomore):
Enjoyed a spectacular campaign in his second full season on The Mesa, receiving second-team all-Mountain West recognition after hitting .389 with four home runs and 53 RBIs … Became the first non-pitcher in league history to garner four MW Player of the Week accolades in the same year … Landed on the USA Baseball Golden Spikes Award Midseason Watch List while earning a spot on the Bobby Bragan Collegiate Slugger of the Year Watch List as well … Started all 46 games in right field, maintaining at least a .400 batting average for all but two weeks of the season … Smacked a team-leading 19 doubles, which ranked fourth in the conference and 29th nationally …. Also found himself among the MW leaders in several categories, including RBIs (2nd), hits (4th – 74th), runs scored (5th – 47), stolen bases (T-6th – 8), batting average (8th) and on-base percentage (10th - .456) … Finished 16th in the country with 1.61 hits per game and ranked 18th with 0.41 doubles per contest … Shared the team lead with multiple RBIs in 15 games and tied for the third on the squad with multiple hits in 21 outings, including three or more in 11 games … Also tied for the Aztecs’ third-longest hitting streak of the year at 12 games from March 27-April 24 … Additionally crafted an 11-game hitting streak to open the year, batting .600 (30-50) during that stretch from Feb. 19-March 13 while earning the first three MW Player of the Week awards of the season … Hit .533 (8-15) with seven RBIs in SDSU’s three-game season-opening series vs. San Diego (Feb. 19-21) … Collected a team-high three hits and four RBIs in the  Aztecs’ 19-18 come-from-behind thriller in game two … Led the Aztecs with a .526 batting average (10-19) in a four-game set against UC San Diego, contributing four doubles, seven RBIs and seven runs scored (Feb. 26-28) … Went 7-for-11 with five runs in the series-ending doubleheader, ripping a key two-out double in the 11th inning of game one before scoring one of two go-ahead runs, as SDSU prevailed, 7-5 … Hit at a blazing .750 clip (9-12) with seven RBIs during a three-game home series vs. Fresno State (March 6-7) … Finished with a 4-for-4 effort in the finale with two RBIs, including one during a five-run outburst in the fifth inning, helping the Aztecs to a 12-7 triumph … Also batted at a stellar .600 pace in the return series at Fresno State, finishing with one home run, three doubles, six RBIs and 15 total bases (April 17-18) … Completed the weekend set with a superlative performance in the finale, going 6-for-6 with three RBIs and five runs scored, helping SDSU overcome a 14-5 deficit before storming back for a 21-14 victory … His six hits and five runs in that game were career highs … Belted a three-run homer and scored four runs in the Aztecs’ huge 20-13 win at Air Force to complete a series sweep (May 23) … Did not commit an error in 86 chances for a clean 1.000 fielding percentage … Earned SDSU scholar-athlete recognition.

2020 SEASON (As A Sophomore): Played 15 of 16 games during his sophomore season that was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Earned six starts apiece at first base and in right field while making two in left … Led the Aztecs with a .348 batting average, which ranked seventh in the Mountain West … Finished with one home run, one double, seven RBIs and seven runs scored … Also found himself among the team leaders in on-base percentage (2nd - .404), slugging percentage (3rd - .435), RBIs with two outs (3rd - 5), walks (T-4th - 5) and RBIs (5th) … Topped the squad in batting average with runners in scoring position (.571) and with two outs (.474) … Hit safely in the final seven games of the season, raising his average from .273 to .348 during that span … Lifted the Aztecs to a 4-1 triumph over Iowa at the Tony Gwynn Legacy with an RBI single and a run scored as part of a pivotal three-run seventh inning (2-21-20) … Went 3-for-4 with a clutch two-out RBI single in the fourth, helping SDSU claim a narrow 2-1 decision at UC Irvine (2-25-20) … Played a huge role in the Aztecs’ wild 12-11 victory vs. Oregon State with a 2-for-3 effort at the plate, highlighted by a key two-run single in the seventh (3-1-20) … Also scored two runs against the Beavers … Went yard for the only time in 2020 vs. Long Beach State with a solo homer, adding a walk and another run scored, as SDSU rolled to a 7-2 win (3-3-20) … Totaled five hits in the three-game series at No. 11/15 Oklahoma, including a 3-for-4 effort with two RBIs in the finale (3-8-20) … Earned spot on the Mountain West all-academic team following the season.  

2019 SEASON (As A Freshman): Collected Mountain West Co-Freshman of the Year honors and was named a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball magazine … Became SDSU’s first MW Freshman of the Year since Stephen Strasburg in 2007 and joins Casey Schmitt (2018) and Chase Calabuig (2015) as the most recent Aztec players to garner Freshman All-America accolades by Collegiate Baseball … Led all MW freshmen with a .350 batting average in conference games to go with a .600 slugging percentage against league foes … Led the team with .493 slugging percentage for the season and ranked fourth with a .293 overall batting average … Made 40 starts in 47 appearances during his first year on The Mesa, including 22 at first base and 18 in right field … Finished with four home runs, 23 runs scored and 20 RBIs, adding 11 doubles and two stolen bases … Hit .442 when leading off an inning, which ranked second on the team … Also posted the squad’s fourth-best fielding percentage among starters at .981 … Racked up multiple hits in 13 games, including a season-high four in the Aztecs’ 19-3 thrashing of New Mexico on the road (3-23-19) … Also tallied season-bests of three runs and three RBIs in that contest vs. the Lobos … Smacked his first collegiate home run the previous week at Loyola Marymount (3-19-19) … Also scored three runs in SDSU’s 11-6 victory over Fresno State (3-31-19) … Enjoyed an eight-game hitting streak from April 26-May 11, highlighted by a 5-for-11 clip (.455) in the Aztecs’ series sweep of San José State (5-3/5-19) … Went 3-5 with a run scored in SDSU’s 10-6 win at Fresno State (5-11-19).

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters at Royal High School in Simi Valley, California for head coach Dan Maye ... Played outfield and corner infield for the Highlanders ... Was rated as the No. 9 outfielder and 45th overall player for the class of 2018 in the state of California according to Perfect Game ... 2018 Perfect Game All-Region First Team honoree ... Member of the 15U USA Baseball National Team that won the gold medal at the COPABE Pan-American Games ... 2017-18 All-Academic Team honoree.
