Was SDSU[apos]s primary designated hitter during his freshman campaign, making 22 appearances in that role ... Also saw action at first, second and third (primarily at third) ... Was 2-for-6 as a pinch hitter ... Finished the season with a 10-game hitting streak ... During that span he batted .435 (20-for-46) with 11 runs scored and 11 RBI ... Recorded a season-high three hits against UC Riverside (Feb. 23) and Air Force (May 8) ... His four runs scored against Air Force on May 9 was a season best ...
