Bay, Craft, Fisher And Tomey Headline List For Aztecs In Orange County Day

SDSU Executive Director of Athletics and Special Assistant to the President Rick Bay, Head Football Coach Tom Craft, Head Men's Basketball Coach Steve Fisher, and newly hired Head Women's Basketball Coach Jim Tomey will all be in attendance at the "Aztecs in Orange County Day" which will be held Monday, June 3rd at Talega Golf Club in San Clemente.

The event again will be co-hosted this year by the Aztec Athletic Foundation and the SDSU Alumni Association. A full day of events is planned, with a shot-gun golf tournament starting at 1 PM, closing with a dinner and program featuring presentations from each guest beginning at 6:30 PM. Talega Golf Club is one of Orange County's newest courses, featuring a Fred Couples design.

Price per player for the day is $185, which includes, golf, cart, prize package, and dinner. Also included in the golf prize package for participants is a pair of tickets to any 2002 Aztec football Mountain West Conference Game (October 12th vs. Utah, October 26th vs. UNLV, and November 16th vs. Colorado State). Dinner only packages are available at $50/person and $90 for couples. However, size is limited to 175 people, and priority will be given to those individuals purchasing a complete golf and dinner package.
