'The Drive 2002' Kicks Off Thursday, April 11th at the Wise Foundation Hall of Fame.

"The Drive 2002", the Aztec Athletic Foundation's annual campaign to raisefunds for student-athlete scholarships at SDSU, begins 6 p.m. Thursday atthe Aztec Athletic Center Wise Foundation Hall of Fame with the Kick-OffRally.

Locally based teams of volunteers from throughout San Diego and OrangeCounties will compete against each other for the right to be the Aztecs' topfundraising group in 2002, as well as great prizes for individual and teamresults.

This year's goal is to raise $1.1 million during the 10-weekcampaign, which would eclipse last year's record of $960,000. It's a greatway to get involved with the Aztecs, meet coaches, student-athletes, andathletic department personnel, and join other loyal Aztecs to help build achampionship level program in the Mountain West Conference.

You can help the Aztecs and the AAF reach their ultimate goal of $3 millionsupport for student-athlete scholarships at SDSU, by far the biggestchallenge facing the athletic department.
