The Drive 2001 Kick-Off Rally Set For Thursday, April 5th at Qualcomm Stadium
April 3, 2001 SAN DIEGO - The Aztec Athletic Foundation will host The Drive 2001 Kick-off Rally at Qualcomm Stadium on Thursday, April 5th at 6 PM. The Kick-off Rally serves as the starting point for The Drive 2001, the AAF's annual campaign to raise student-athlete scholarships at San Diego State University. Approximately 100 volunteers from around San Diego County will begin their seven-week effort to raise $1 million in "unrestricted" contributions. These volunteers will be calling AAF members, alumni, season-ticket holders and friends of SDSU for their donations to Aztec Athletics. The Drive 2001 will continue through May 24th, culminating in a Victory Celebration at Cox Arena.
