| Mountain West Conference Basketball Tournament Tickets And Packages On Sale Now From The AAF
Jan. 23, 2002 The 2002 Mountain West Conference Basketball Tournament is fast approaching, and the Aztecs need you in Las Vegas to cheer them on to the post-season championship and an automatic bid into the NCAA tourney. The women kick off the event on Wednesday, March 6th, with the men taking center stage on Thursday, March 7th. Semi-final action for both is Friday, March 8th, with the finals taking place on Saturday, March 9th. All games will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The AAF has full three- and four-day packages available. The packagess include hotel accomodations at the Monte Carlo, transportation to and from the arena for all Aztec games, hospitality featuring appearances by members of the men's and women's coaching staffs, and guaranteed lower-level tickets at the Thomas and Mack Center for all 14 tournament games. Packages begin at $899 and $999, respectively, and can be purchased by contacting Cara Rodiles at the AAF at (619) 594-7924, or simply click here to download a reservation form, fill it out completely, and fax it back to the AAF at (619) 594-2666. Each school is allowed to purchase a limited number of tickets in the lower level of the Thomas and Mack Center, so space is limited, and your purchase of a travel package with the Aztecs assures you great seats for all the tournament action in the SDSU section. The Mountain West Conference has advised all schools they DO NOT anticipate any single-session tickets being available for sale to any games in the lower level, meaning your best opportunity to acquire lower level seating to all the action is by purchasing a travel package with the Aztecs.
