2017-18
Indoor Season: Only competed in one event at one meet.  Had a throw of 36-9.75 in the shotput at the New Mexico Team Invite (Jan. 27), good for 16^th place.

Outdoor Season: Competed in the shot put and the discus throw… Had season-best throw of 41-2.25 in the shotput at the Aztec Invitational (March 24)… Also cleared 40’ at the Mountain West Challenge (Apr. 6) with a toss of 40-8.75, good for sixth place… Had season-best discus throw of 144-7.00 at the Triton Invitaional.

High School
Four-year letterwinner at Park City High ... 2016 Utah State High School top discus mark and Division 3A shot put runner-up ... 2015 Utah State High School Division 3A shot put champion and discus runner-up ... Helped Park City to a 3A state championship in 2013 and 2014 ... Set Park City's records in both the discus and shot put ... Also played volleyball.

Kambridge Jayne Van Der Veur was born in Salt Lake City to Shem Van Der Veur and Jayne Poulson ... Shem played basketball at UC Davis while her uncle, Glenn Cadrez, played in the NFL ... Majoring in sociology.
