SPRINGFIELD, ORE. – San Diego State Cross Country will return to the Pine Ridge Golf Club for the annual Bill Dellinger Invitational hosted by the University of Oregon. This will mark the fourth consecutive year that the Aztecs have competed at this meet. In 2025 SDSU secured a 10th place finish with three of the Aztecs top seven finishers returning this season. Emilia Greenway secured a 43rd place finish with a time of 21:48.94 in 2025 with Emily Russo and Elliana Lomeli also scoring for the team.
San Diego State will be facing a competitive but familiar field of competitors as well. At the Saint Mary’s Invite earlier this year the Aztecs competed against the University of California, Berkely, Saint Mary’s and NCAA Division II powerhouse Chico State. They also faced UC Irvine to start the season at the Aztec Coastal Classic. All four programs will be competing this weekend against San Diego State once again. The highlight of the race will be SDSU’s opportunity to compete against national powerhouse, University of Oregon. The Ducks currently rank 6th in the nation according to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
