SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State softball program unveiled its 2027 conference schedule for its first season in the Pac-12 on Thursday, featuring three home series at SDSU Softball Stadium.
The other Pac-12 teams that play softball are Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Oregon State, Texas State and Utah State. All series are scheduled for three games.
The Aztecs will open up with a home series against Oregon State from Thursday, March 25, through Saturday, March 27. SDSU faced the Beavers twice at home last season, winning 8-6 in nine innings on February 14 on a three-run walk-off home run off the bat of Olivia Gigante. The Scarlet and Black won by a 10-5 score in the rematch the following day.
Next up is a two-week road trip. SDSU will play at Boise State from Friday, April 2, through Sunday, April 4, and at Colorado State from Friday April 9, through Sunday, April 11. San Diego State played home series against both teams last season, beating the Broncos once and Rams twice.
Back at SDSU Softball Stadium, SDSU will welcome Utah State to America’s Finest City for a series from Friday, April 16, through Sunday, April 18. San Diego State hosted the Aggies for three games in 2025, dropping a pair of one-run games and winning once via the run-rule.
San Diego State plays its final away weekend at Texas State from Friday, April 23, through Sunday, April 25. The Aztecs and Bobcats have played just four times, with SDSU picking up three victories. The teams haven’t played since 2014, and the other three meetings all came between 1996 and 1998.
To round out the regular season, the Aztecs will host Fresno State from Friday, April 30, through Sunday, May 2. The teams wrapped up the regular season with three games in Fresno last year. They split the first two, but the Bulldogs emerged victorious in extra innings in the finale.
Texas State will host this season’s Pac-12 Tournament, held in San Marcos, Texas, from May 12-15.
