SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women’s soccer team (6-3-1, 0-1-0 Pac-12) will play its first road conference match as a member of the Pac-12 Conference on Sunday, when it takes on the No. 22 Texas State Bobcats (7-2-2, 0-1-0 Pac-12) on Sunday in San Marcos, Texas. The match is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT (11 a.m. PT) and will be broadcast on the Pac-12 YouTube page.
Each team dropped their conference opener on Thursday night. Texas State fell 2-1 at No. 19 Utah State and had a goal by Constance Agyemang. The Aztecs ended up on the wrong end of a 4-1 score against Boise State, but led in possession, shots on goal and corner kicks. SDSU scored its goal on a Victoria Miller penalty kick that tied the score heading into halftime.
The Scarlet and Black are playing Texas State for the first time in program history, and the teams have yet to face any common opponents this season.
SDSU starts next week on the road with a Thursday night match at Oregon State. It’s scheduled for 6 p.m. PT. All Aztecs home matches on the SDSU Sports Deck are free to attend, and all Pac-12 matches are streamed for free on the Pac-12 YouTube channel.
