SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State has announced its gameday promotions for Saturday’s first ever Pac-12 conference game against the Bobcats from Texas State with Palomar Insurance serving as the game sponsor. The game is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast live on CW Sports.

Saturday’s game will be the first time the two programs have ever faced off on the field. It will also serve as the first ever Pac-12 conference game for both teams. San Diego State season ticket holders will be able to pick up a commemorative Pac-12 pin at the River Park Block Party before the game or on the concourse under the Sycuan Piers at halftime!

The game will also serve as a night of multiple celebrations, reunions and recognitions. First, SDSU will be hosting its annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration game as San Diego State athletics looks to honor the proud Hispanic culture that is synonymous with San Diego. San Diego State football is also looking forward to Saturday’s game being a key component of SDSU’s Family Weekend! The 29th annual Family Weekend invites parents and family to get a glimpse into their student’s life at SDSU. It is one of SDSU’s most long-standing traditions and brings thousands of students, parents and alumni together.

Saturday night’s matchup against the Bobcats will also operate as a night of recognition and reunion as the athletic department will proudly honor and acknowledge the 2016 Mountain West football championship team. San Diego State will also acknowledge its 2025-2026 conference championship teams across the entire athletic department. The Aztecs will also recognize the United States Marine Corp in keeping with the programs’ season long acknowledgment of the United States Armed Forces.

The River Block Party, presented by Snapdragon, will open at 2:30 p.m. The block party will be highlighted by a variety of activities celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. A fleet of eight low-riders will be on display for fans to interact with and take photos with. A live muralist will be painting an original, hand-crafted mural that will look to bring together themes of Hispanic heritage and the Aztec’s inaugural Pac-12 matchup. Select members of the 2016 Mountain West Championship team will be available for autographs from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. while re-prints of the 2016 schedule release poster will be made available. Live music and various food and beverage options will be available throughout the Block Party while the Kids Zone will offer inflatables, prize wheels, airbrush tattoos and more!

The Warrior Walk will begin at 5:15 p.m., offering fans the perfect opportunity to cheer on the team as they exit the buses and walk into Snapdragon Stadium where they will gear up to take on the visiting Bobcats! Fans can mingle with the San Diego State spirit squads, including cheerleaders, dance team and band, before watching the Aztecs get ready to do battle inside the stadium. Aztec Football is teaming up with The Show to give away FREE special SDSU Aztec scarfs to the first 1,000 students who arrive at the gates!

SDSU Football is also proud to announce this week’s Honor Warrior, Kahale Warring. After redshirting his first season on campus in 2015, Kahale Warring played the next three years at San Diego State, recording 51 receptions for 637 yards and eight touchdowns in 29 career games. Warring appeared on the Mackey Award Watch List for nation's top tight end, twice on the Burlsworth Trophy nominee for the nation's most outstanding player who started as a walk-on and was an honorable mention all-Mountain West selection as a junior, when he led the team with 31 catches for 372 yards and three touchdowns. Warring was selected in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.
