SAN DIEGO – Finn Willman and Brock Anderson are set to represent San Diego State at the San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic this weekend, hosted by the University of San Diego at the Hogan Tennis Center, beginning Friday.

The first round of doubles competition is set to get underway at 8 a.m., followed by singles at 9 a.m. The following round will then be played at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively. The two Aztecs will be playing in both draws. Singles matches will be played as best two out of three sets with a full third, while doubles will be played as a set to six with a tiebreaker at six all.

This will be the season opener for sophomore Finn Willman, who joined the Aztecs in the spring of 2026. The Tauranga, New Zealand native earned four singles victories as a freshman.

Anderson kicked off his senior season at the Wildcat Invitational where he earned his first singles win of the year, taking down New Mexico State’s Laurendi Fischer 6-1, 6-2. In his first year with the Aztecs as a junior transfer out of LSU, Anderson amassed 10 doubles and nine singles victories.
