SAN DIEGO – San Diego State men’s basketball has finalized a deal to play the Brigham Young Cougars as part of the 2026 Acrisure Series at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, Calif., on Saturday, December 19. Tip time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT.
In a series which began in the 1940-41 season, this will be the 78th matchup between the schools. Sixty-seven of the previous 77 meetings have been as conference opponents and in the 10 non-conference games, San Diego State owns a 7-3 mark.
In neutral site games, the Aztecs hold a 4-1 lead in the series, which includes a 3-1 mark in games at the Mountain West Tournament. In the last three neutral site games, SDSU has emerged as the victor, most recently a 92-87 double overtime win in the quarterfinal of the 2014 Maui Invitational.
Tickets for the game can be purchased through Ticketmaster starting at 10 a.m. PT on Wednesday, July 22.
