Six Aztecs Earn Spots on the CSC Academic All-District Track & Field Team

Sydney Ash, Peyton Bedrosian, Jenna Fee Feyerabend, Jordan Leveque, Anna Mager & Lidia Major secured All-District honors while Feyerabend advanced to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.

SAN DIEGO – San Diego State track and field had six athletes selected to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.

CSC Academic All-District honors are awarded to top student athletes for their standout athletic and academic performances. To be considered, a student-athlete must achieve a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale). Athletically, student athletes must own a top 50 regional ranking in a single event in either the indoor or outdoor seasons according to TFRRS.

Sydney Ash, Peyton Bedrosian and Jordan Leveque are all members of the Aztecs pole vaulting team which finished the indoor season ranked 10th in the NCAA and wrapped up the outdoor season ranked 14th in the NCAA according to the USTFCCCA Event Squad rankings.

Ash finished the indoor season ranked 27th in the West Region having posted a 3.84m vault at the conference championships. During the outdoor season she moved into 18th place in the West Region behind a 4.01m vault at the UCSD Triton Invitational. Off the field, Ash posted a 3.76 GPA while majoring in Political Science.

Peyton Bedrosian's best vault during the indoor season was a 3.94m mark at the Battle Born Invitational, securing her an 18th place finish in the West Region. During the outdoor season, Bedrosian finished 26th regionally with an outdoor season best of 3.90m at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, California. Bedrosian owns a 3.54 GPA while majoring in Marketing.

Lastly, Jordan Leveque was the Aztec’s second-best vaulter during the indoor campaign. Leveque took fourth place at the indoor conference championships with a season best 3.99m vault while also moving into 15th place in the region. During outdoor competition she finished one spot below fellow All-District team member, Peyton Bedrosian, with a 27th place finish in the region. Leveque holds a 3.65 GPA while majoring in Public Health.             

On the track, the 400-meter hurdles duo of Anna Mager and Lidia Major also earned Academic All-District Honors. During the indoor season Mager was the 24th ranked 400-meter dash athlete in the West Region with a time of 54.85. Mager would finish the outdoor season as one of the top 400-meter hurdlers in the west. She finished the season ranked second in the West Region with a time of 57.04. She would also win a silver medal at the Mountain West Outdoor Conference Championship, be named to the all-conference team, qualify for the NCAA West Preliminaries and post the third fastest 400-meter hurdles time in program history.

Lidia Major completed the outdoor season ranked 43rd in the region in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.12. In the hurdles she moved up to 22nd in the West Region thanks to a 59.57 performance at the Mt. SAC Relays. She also ran the eighth fastest 600-meter run in program history during the indoor season while maintaining a 3.57 GPA in Kinesiology Physical Therapy.

Rounding out the honorees is 2024-2025 CSC Academic All-American Jenna Fee Feyerabend. Feyerabend was top performer for the Aztecs during the outdoor season. Athletically, she dominated the Mountain West including earning the all-time Mountain West heptathlon record, the Mountain West Championship heptathlon meet record, her third conference heptathlon gold medal, was named the conference championship Field Performer of the Meet and was selected to the outdoor Mountain West All-Conference team for the fifth time in her career. She finished the regular season ranked seventh in the NCAA for the heptathlon and competed at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championship where she earned second team all-American honors in the heptathlon for the third time in her career. Feyerabend was also a force in the classroom with a 4.00 GPA in Mass Communication studies while advancing to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
