Four Aztecs will represent San Diego State across the 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles and pole vault. The team will begin competition on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. PST with the 100-meter hurdles.

The duo of Jada Pierre and Charlize James have been the top 100-meter hurdlers in the Mountain West over the last three seasons with one of the two winning gold at three straight Mountain West Outdoor Championships. Both athletes competed at the 2024 and 2025 NCAA West First Round as well. Pierre heads to Arkansas as the back-to-back reigning Mountain West Champion and owns the ninth fastest time on the NCAA Division I West Outdoor list. James will compete this week having won back-to-back Mountain West silver medals and the 33rd fastest time on the NCAA West list. James is the fifth fastest 100-meter hurdler in Mountain West history having run 13.05 during the 2024 season.

San Diego State will also be represented in the 400-meter hurdles by all-conference honoree, Anna Mager. Mager put together a strong senior season highlighted by earning a silver medal at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships. This will be her third appearance at the NCAA West First Round meet having qualified with the Aztecs in 2025 and with Tulsa in 2023. She also posted a personal best and the fifth fastest 400-meter time in program history at the conference championship running 58.44.

The last Aztec to compete will be Isabella Nilsen. Nilsen has been the team’s top pole vaulter earning a silver medal at the indoor conference championship. She has also posted the ninth best indoor vault and sixth best outdoor vault in SDSU history. She set a new personal best of 4.25m earlier this season while competing at the Texas Invitational.
