Five Aztecs Named to the 2026 Mountain West Outdoor All-Conference Team

Jenna Fee Feyerabend, Charlize James, Anna Mager, Aji Mbye and Jada Pierre all earned a spot on the 2026 all-conference team after securing medals at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships last weekend.

SAN DIEGO – San Diego State Track & Field finished the program’s final season in the Mountain West with five athletes earning all-conference honors for their efforts at the outdoor conference championship meet last weekend.

Jenna Fee Feyerabend won her third career Mountain West gold medal in the heptathlon with a final point total of 5,905. Feyerabend’s score set a new meet record while outscoring the second-place finisher by over 490 points. She secured first place finishes in both the javelin toss and shot put while also coming in second in the 800-meter run, high jump and 100-meter hurdles. Feyerabend leaves a permanent mark on the Mountain West as the proud owner of the the top heptathlon mark in Conference history after her dominant showing in Clovis. She currently ranks seventh in all of NCAA Division I in the heptathlon and will look to extend her season at the NCAA National Championship in Eugene, Oregon.

The duo of Jada Pierre and Charlize James also received all-conference acknowledgement for their gold and silver medals in the 100-meter hurdles. Pierre entered the weekend as the defending conference champion and owned the top seed time. After winning the preliminary heat with a time of 13.07 she defended her title on Saturday, earning gold with a time of 13.18. Pierre now sits tied for twenty-ninth in the nation and will be in a strong position to represent the Aztecs at the NCAA First Round preliminary meet in Arkansas. James, the 2024 conference champion, was not far behind winning a silver medal with a time of 13.13. This was her second consecutive silver medal in the hurdles.

Staying on the track, Anna Mager earned her first ever all-conference selection. Mager entered the weekend as the third fastest 400-meter hurdler in the Mountain West and proceeded to earn a silver medal for running a new personal best of 57.98. Not only was it the fastest performance in Mager’s collegiate career but it now stands as the fifth fastest time in San Diego State’s history.

Lastly, Aji Mbye once again earned a bronze medal in the 200-meter dash after winning a bronze in the same event during the indoor season. Mbye was named to the 2024 all-conference team for the 100-meter dash as well as a member of the Aztec’s 4x100 relay team. She now owns five medals in both the indoor and outdoor seasons during her time with SDSU.
