SAN DIEGO – No. 40 San Diego State women’s tennis is back on The Mesa this week, hosting Wyoming at the Aztec Tennis Center on Friday, beginning at 10 a.m. PT. Following their matchup against the Cowboys, the Aztecs will then head to Fort Collins, Colo. on Sunday to take on Colorado State in their final road contest of the season.

The Aztecs hold a 15-3 overall record and 7-1 in conference play. They are currently in a three-way tie for first place in the Mountain West standings alongside No. 52 Boise State and No. 62 UNLV. Last time out, they took down both UNLV and Nevada by a score of 4-2 on the road.

Wyoming enters Friday’s matchup with an 11-7 record and 4-4 in the league, coming off a 4-1 win over New Mexico on Saturday. San Diego State leads Wyoming 19-5 in the all-time series, taking the last match 4-2 in 2025.

Colorado State is 6-13 on the season and 2-6 in the Mountain West, most recently falling 4-0 at Air Force. The Aztecs boast a 26-1 advantage in the all-time series against the Rams. In the last meeting between the two teams in 2025, the Aztecs grabbed a 4-2 victory.

Following this weekend’s action, the team will return to the Aztec Tennis Center for the final match of the regular season, hosting Grand Canyon on April 17.
