A junior transfer out of LSU, Lofman played on the top court in singles and doubles in 14 matches this season to earn his first all-conference honors. He led the Scarlet and Black with 12 singles wins on the year and an 8-6 record in the spring, including four wins against Mountain West opponents. His key victories include a 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 win over Utah’s Dante Teramo to clinch the match, a 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 win against No. 67 Cal Poly’s Luc Hoeijmans and a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 victory over Avery Tallakson to help lead the Aztecs past No. 62 Boise State 4-3.
Lofman paired up with freshman William Kleege on the top court in doubles. The Aztec duo boasts a 13-3 overall record and 11-2 in dual matches. They took down No. 47 Harvard’s Nathan Blokhin and Benjamin Privara 6-3, No. 57 Utah State’s Xavier Calvello and Jakub Medved 6-3 and No. 62 Boise State’s Carson Baker and Avery Tallakson 6-3.
