SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego State football team will conclude its spring campaign with a family-friendly event on Saturday, May 2, highlighted by a scrimmage at 2 p.m. PT on the SDSU practice grass field. Admission is free to the event.
Family and fan activities and entertainment will begin at 1 p.m., including youth Skills & Drills, mobile video game truck, inflatable games, yard games. There will also be performances by the SDSU band and spirit squads, as well as a balloon artist, caricaturist and face painter.
There will be a beer garden and food trucks on site, and discounted SDSU merchandise will be available for purchase.
The Warrior Walk will begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. with a special kids run-out slated to follow just before the scrimmage starts at 2 p.m.
Following the scrimmage will be an autograph session.
Head coach Sean Lewis will also throw out the first pitch at the Aztec baseball team against Nevada, which begins at 5 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium.
Although admission is free to the event, fans are encouraged to RSVP at GoAztecs.com/FBSpringGame to be entered to win one of five Coach Lewis autographed jerseys and one of six Aztec football game experiences.
There will also be opportunities to meet the San Diego State ticket sales team face-to-face to plan out the best season-ticket option for SDSU’s first season in the Pac-12 Conference in 2026.
San Diego State is coming off a 9-4 season in 2025, where it finished in four-way tie atop of the Mountain West standings with a 6-2 conference record, advancing to is first bowl game since 2022. The Aztecs kick off their first year in the Pac-12 on Sept. 5 against Portland State at Snapdragon Stadium.
