SAN DIEGOJenna Fee Feyerabend made her 2026 heptathlon debut at the Aztec Invitational and dominated winning five of the seven events on her way to scoring 5,828 points. Feyerabend is a two-time Mountain West heptathlon champion, winning gold medals at the conference championship in both 2023 and 2024. This is the first conference athlete of the week award the Aztecs have won during the 2026 outdoor season.

Feyerabend now owns the second-best heptathlon performance in the NCAA and the top mark in the Mountain West. At the Aztec Invitational she earned a first-place finish in the long jump, 200-meter dash, shot put, high jump and javelin. Her 44.40m throw in the javelin, 5.77m long jump and 14.07 time in the 100-meter hurdles all rank among the top 10 in the Mountain West in said events. Feyerabend also now sits in fourth place for the most heptathlon points scored in the history of the Mountain West.

Feyerabend will return to action later this week as the Aztecs travel to Walnut, California to compete in the Mt. SAC Relays from April 15-18. She is slated to race in multiple events including the 100-meter hurdles and 200-meter dash.
