SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women’s basketball team hosts New Mexico Wednesday at 11 a.m. for their second and final Field Trip game.

- SDSU is expected to break their single game attendance record of 6,906, which was set at a Field Trip game last season.
- The Aztecs have won eight games in a row and are coming off a 73-72 win at Utah State Saturday where the Aztecs rallied from an 11-point fourth quarter deficit. Naomi Panganiban scored a season-high 23 points, 11 of which came in the fourth quarter including the game-winning shot with four seconds left.
- This is SDSU’s third eight-game win streak over the last two seasons. With a win Wednesday, the Aztecs will have their longest win streak since the 2012-13 season (17).
- Six of their eight wins during their streak have been by double-digits and SDSU has an average margin of victory of 12.4 during that stretch.
- Dating back to last year, SDSU has won their last 14 games against Mountain West opponents, their longest streak since the 2012-13 season.

- The Aztecs are making a Mountain West-best 8.7 three-pointers per game, which would easily top the program’s previous best of 6.8 per game. SDSU has made more threes than their opponent in all but two games.
- SDSU is shooting 47.7% from the floor and 38.4% from three in their six Mountain West games. Their opponents are shooting just 35.5% from the field and 29.9% from three.
- Defensively, the Aztecs have held their opponents to 37.6% shooting from the field, which is the second best in the conference. SDSU is 10-0 when holding their opponent under 70 points.
- This is the second straight season the Aztecs have won at least 12 of their first 15 games (also 12-3 last year).

- In conference play, she is averaging 15.3 points and shooting 50.7% from the field.

- She scored a career-high 21 points on 10-for-14 shooting at Wyoming on Jan. 3.
Nat Martinez (Sophomore, Guard, San Leandro, Calif.)
- Nat Martinez is second in the Mountain West among qualified players in free throw percentage (85.4%).
- She won Mountain West Player of the Week after scoring 22 points at Kansas State prior to the holiday break.
- It was her third time scoring 20 or more points against a power conference school, and fifth time overall in her career.
- In her five games against power conference schools, she is averaging 17.0 points per game shooting 55% from the field and 58% from three.
