Aztec Tidbits
- This is SDSU’s first true road game of the year, the latest in the season that the Aztecs (9th game) have ever played their first true road game.
- This is SDSU’s first game against a Big 12 team (at the time of the game) since Nov. 24, 2018 (TCU). They played Arizona (currently in the Big 12) a week later that year (Dec. 2, 2018).
- This is the Aztecs’ third game against a power conference team on the year (UCLA and Penn State).
- SDSU is coming off a 70-68 win over Pacific Sunday. Despite the narrow margin, the Aztecs only trailed for 10 seconds and led by as much as 14 points.
- The Aztecs had four players score in double figures and were led by Naomi Panganiban’s season-high 17 points.
- SDSU is turning the ball over just 12.9 times per game, the 23rd fewest in the nation. Their turnover margin (+4.5) and assist-to-turnover radio (+1.10) is the second best in the Mountain West.

- Nat Martinez had a career-high 24 points vs. Penn State in the Bahamas Nov. 24. It was her second time scoring 20 or more points against a Big Ten team, and fourth time overall in her career.
- She was named to the Mountain West All-Freshman Team a year ago.
- She shot 41.9% from three last year, the fifth best in a single season in program history.
- She was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week three times, tied with Naomi Panganiban for the school record.
Nala Williams (Senior, Guard, Long Beach, Calif.)
- Nala Williams’s 2.21 assist-to-turnover ratio is first in the Mountain West.
- Against Cal State Bakersfield Nov. 15, she became the first Aztec in the Mountain West era (since 1999) to have at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and three three-pointers in a game.
- In her career, she has 1,561 points, 542 rebounds, 369 assists and 318 steals in 100 games.
- Her 314 career steals are the fifth most in the nation across all divisions among active players.
- She has scored in double-digits in 77 of her 100 career games and has scored 20 or more 30 times. Her career-high is 42.
- Last year at Cal State Dominguez Hills, Nala Williams was named the DII National Player of the Year and the National Defensive Player of the Year.
- She helped her school go 36-2 and make the national title game.

- Her seven made 3-pointers tied for the 2nd most ever made by an Aztec.
- She became the first Aztec to make seven threes in a game since Jan. 15, 2022 (Mallory Adams).
- She became the fifth Aztec to make seven threes in a game under head coach Stacie Terry-Hutson (13th season).
Kendall Mosley (Freshman, Guard, Prosper, Texas)
- Kendall Mosley was named the preseason MW Freshman of the Year.
- She was the 2024-25 6A MVP in Texas.
- She was named the District 5-6A Offensive MVP each of the last two years.
CJ Latta (Sophomore, Guard, Paul, Idaho)
- CJ Latta made 26 starts as a freshman at Utah State last year.
- Her 9.1 points per game were the third most in the Mountain West by a true freshman, trailing only current teammate Naomi Panganiban (10.3) and former USU teammate Taliyah Logwood (9.7).
- She led the Aggies in three-pointers (56), assists (2.3), and assist-to-turnover ratio (+1.28).
