SAN DIEGO – San Diego State lacrosse has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring eight home games and eight road contests, as well as an exhibition to be played on Aztec Field. In their second year as a part of the Big 12, the Aztecs will kick off conference play on March 28.

Prior to the start of the regular season, San Diego State will host Pomona-Pitzer in an exhibition game on Saturday, Jan. 31 at noon PT.

The Aztecs will then officially get the 2026 slate underway with three straight home games, welcoming California in the home opener at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, followed by Fairleigh Dickinson at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12 and Oregon at noon on Monday, Feb. 16.

The team will then hit the road to Greenville, N.C., where they will take on East Carolina at 9 a.m. PT on Saturday, Feb. 28. Next up, the Scarlet and Black will face the USC Trojans in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 4 at 6 p.m.

Returning to The Mesa, the Aztecs will host Penn State at noon on Sunday, March 8 in the first ever matchup between the two programs. A week later, on March 15, they will go head-to-head against Columbia at noon.

Back on the road, SDSU is set for a March 20 contest against Kent State at 3 p.m. PT in Kent, Ohio. The team will then head down south to take on Akron at 9 a.m. PT on Sunday, March 22.

The Aztecs will open conference play on the road, facing Colorado in their first Big 12 matchup at 11 a.m. PT on Saturday, March 28.

Next up, SDSU will welcome Rutgers to San Diego for a 4 p.m. game on March 31.

Continuing the conference slate, the team will travel to UC Davis, where they will play at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 4.

In their final home stand of the season, the Aztecs will host Florida, who finished the 2025 season ranked fourth in the IWLCA Poll, in a morning contest at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 11. One week later, SDSU will celebrate senior day with a 1p.m. game vs. Arizona State on April 18.

The Aztecs will close out the regular season on the road, wrapping up conference play against Cincinnati on Friday, April 24 at 1 p.m. PT, before playing one final non-conference game at Xavier on April 26, beginning at 9 a.m. PT.

The Big 12 Women’s Lacrosse Championship is set to take place in Gainesville, Fla. from April 29-May 2.
