SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State announced a future home-and-home series with Hawai’i on Monday.
The Aztecs and Rainbow Warriors will play one another on Sept. 23, 2028 in San Diego and Sept. 22, 2029 in Honolulu.
The two teams are playing on Saturday in Honolulu for the final time in SDSU’s Mountain West era. It will be the 14th consecutive season the two teams will meet, the longest active streak for San Diego State. The two teams aren’t scheduled to meet again until 2028 in San Diego.
On July 1, 2026, the Aztecs officially become a member of the new Pac-12 along with league stalwarts Oregon State and Washington State, as well as Boise State, Colorado State, Gonzaga (for men’s basketball only), Fresno State, Texas State and Utah State.
Additionally, San Diego State and Louisiana Tech have mutually agreed to cancel its series scheduled for 2028 and 2029.
SDSU (7-1, 4-0 MW) and Hawai’i (6-3, 3-2 MW) meet at 6 p.m. HT (8 p.m. PT) Saturday.
I believe that is all. Working on some FCS games but nothing decided yet.
