SAN DIEGO – San Diego State Athletics, in conjunction with KUSI-TV, will televise all 11 non-conference home basketball games for both the men’s and women’s teams, six for the men and five for the women, an unprecedented number of games on local television.
The men’s package of games, which were not picked up by its national television partners, features four games that are scheduled to tip at 7 p.m. PT, beginning with the regular-season opener against Long Beach State (Tuesday, Nov. 4), then Troy (Tuesday, Nov. 18), Utah Valley (Wednesday, Dec. 3) and Lamar (Wednesday, Dec. 10).
The game against Idaho State (Sunday, Nov. 9) will tip at 2 p.m. and the non-conference finale against Whittier (Monday, Dec. 22) is set to get underway at 1 p.m.
 
With this announcement, all 16 San Diego State men's basketball regular-season home games will be televised either locally or nationally. 
The women’s games start with their regular-season opener against Cal State San Marcos (Saturday, Nov. 8) with a 3 p.m. PT tip. CSUN (Wednesday, Nov. 12) will be at Viejas Arena for a 6 p.m. tip. Three days later, on Saturday, Nov. 15, Cal State Bakersfield will be in town for a 1 p.m. start.
The final two women’s games are against Santa Clara (Wednesday, Nov. 19) at 11 a.m. and Pacific (Sunday, Dec. 7) at 1 p.m.
This is the first time in program history that San Diego State women's basketball has had games broadcasted locally.
Steve Quis will be on the play-by-play call. Quis has been a staple in the San Diego sports scene calling San Diego Clippers and UC San Diego games and has appeared on ESPN, MLB Network, Stadium and Spectrum SportsNet as well as KUSI-TV.
In addition to being carried on KUSI-TV, the games will also be streamed on the Mountain West Network, through a link at www.goaztecs.com.
