SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women’s basketball team is playing in the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas where they will face off against Maryland Eastern Shore Saturday at 12:30 p.m. PT and then take on Penn State Monday morning at 9 a.m. PT. There won’t be a stream for either game, but fans can listen to Chris Ello’s audio broadcast in the SDSU Aztecs app or on GoAztecs.com.

- The Aztecs are coming off a loss to Santa Clara in their first of two field trip games. 3,707 fans were in attendance, SDSU’s biggest crowd of the year.
- SDSU is turning the ball over just 12.0 times per game, the 20th fewest in the nation. Their 1.10 assist-to-turnover ratio is the second best in the Mountain West.
- Prior to the Santa Clara game, SDSU had averaged 88.0 points over their previous three games, their most points per game in a three-game stretch since January of 1992 (88.6 points).
- SDSU’s 72.9 points per game on the year is second in the Mountain West. The Aztecs have averaged their most points per game in each of the last two years in the Terry-Hutson era (13th season)
- Seven Aztecs have already scored in double-digits in a game.

Nala Williams (Senior, Guard, Long Beach, Calif.)
- Against Cal State Bakersfield, Nala Williams became the first Aztec in the MW era (since 1999) to have at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and three three-pointers in a game.
- In her career, she has 1,544 points, 525 rebounds, 354 assists and 314 steals in 97 games.
- Her 314 career steals are the fourth most in the nation across all divisions among active players.
- She has scored in double-digits in 76 of her 97 career games and has scored 20 or more 30 times. Her career-high is 42.
- Last year at Cal State Dominguez Hills, Nala Williams was named the DII National Player of the Year and the National Defensive Player of the Year.
- She helped her school go 36-2 and make the national title game.
- She had 152 steals last year (4.0/game), which was the most in the nation across all divisions. No one else had more than 140 steals and only three other players had 130 or more.

- Despite an off day shooting, Nat Martinez had six rebounds, three steals, three assists and drew seven fouls vs. Santa Clara Wednesday.
- She was named to the Mountain West All-Freshman Team a year ago.
- She shot 41.9% from three last year, the fifth best in a single season in program history.
- She was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week three times, tied with Naomi Panganiban for the school record.
Kaelyn Hamilton (Sophomore, Guard, McKinney, Texas)
- Kaelyn Hamilton scored a career-high 12 points vs. Santa Clara Wednesday.
Kennedy Lee (RS Junior, Forward, Louisville, Ky.)
- Kennedy Lee set career highs for points (24) and three-pointers (7) last vs. CSUN (11-13).
- Her seven made 3-pointers tied for the 2nd most ever made by an Aztec.
- She became the first Aztec to make seven threes in a game since Jan. 15, 2022 (Mallory Adams).
- She became the fifth Aztec to make seven threes in a game under head coach Stacie Terry-Hutson.
Alyssa Jackson (RS Sophomore, Forward, Fairfield, Calif.)
- Alyssa Jackson had a career-high three assists vs. CSUN (11-13).
- She scored a career-high 11 points on 4-for-4 shooting vs. CSUSM in the home opener.
- Jackson redshirted last year after playing every game in 2023-24 as a true freshman.
Kendall Mosley (Freshman, Guard, Prosper, Texas)
- Kendall Mosley was named the preseason MW Freshman of the Year.
- She scored 11 points with three three-pointers vs. CSUSM last Saturday.
- She was the 2024-25 6A MVP in Texas.
- She was named the District 5-6A Offensive MVP each of the last two years.
CJ Latta (Sophomore, Guard, Paul, Idaho)
- CJ Latta made 26 starts as a freshman at Utah State last year.
- Her 9.1 points per game were the third most in the Mountain West by a true freshman, trailing only current teammate Naomi Panganiban (10.3) and former USU teammate Taliyah Logwood (9.7).
- She led the Aggies in three-pointers (56), assists (2.3), and assist-to-turnover ratio (+1.28).
- She ranked third all-time at USU with six games of 15 points or more as a freshman.
