SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women’s basketball team will host field trip games on November 19 and January 14, which will offer free admission to all San Diego County K-8th graders, teachers, and chaperones. Games are scheduled to tip off at 11 a.m. from Steve Fisher Court at Viejas Arena.
This is a great opportunity for schools to bring their students onto a college campus and enjoy educational activities before the games begin. Students will also have an opportunity to take a photo with their class on the court postgame. Parents will need to opt-in to receive the photo of their children, with communication coming via email.
To claim tickets, please fill out the registration form. Schools will need to provide their own transportation to and from the game. When registering, schools will need to input the number of tickets requested for students, faculty/staff and number of buses to register for the event. Tickets will be printed out and mailed a week before the event date. Each school will receive communication to confirm their ticket requests. Supervision of students in attendance is required.
Concessions will be available for purchase; however, schools may also bring lunch for their classrooms. These must be packaged in paper or plastic bags, as no hard coolers or containers will be allowed into the arena.
