SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women’s soccer program unveiled its 2025 non-conference schedule on Friday, featuring six matches on the SDSU Sports Deck and one match at Snapdragon Stadium.
The Scarlet and Black open up with a pair of exhibition matches this season. The Aztecs will face the San Diego Toreros in an exhibition match for the second consecutive season, this time on the SDSU Sports Deck on August 6. Three days later, SDSU will play another exhibition at Southern California in Los Angeles.
The next week, SDSU begins the regular season with a pair of matches back on the SDSU Sports Deck. On August 14, San Diego State will face Texas Tech for the first time since the 2019 campaign. Following that Thursday night match, the Aztecs will be back in action on Sunday night against Cal State Bakersfield, whom they defeated 3-0 in the season opener at Snapdragon Stadium in 2024. After hosting the Stanford Cardinal last season, SDSU will return the favor, traveling to Palo Alto for a match on August 21. The Aztecs’ August competition wraps up against UC San Diego at Snapdragon Stadium on August 30. SDSU will look to avenge last season’s defeat against the Tritons, the first in program history.
San Diego State plays its final road non-conference match on September 11 at Pepperdine, a team the Aztecs have faced three of the last four years, most recently resulting in a 1-1 tie in 2023. SDSU returns to America’s Finest City for the remainder of September. The team wraps up its non-conference slate with a pair of Sunday home matches against UC Riverside on September 14 and Hawai’i on September 21. San Diego State last battled the Highlanders in 2014 and the Rainbow Wahine in 2011.
