SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State men’s basketball team's two opponents in pool play of the Players Era Championship this November in Las Vegas, has been confirmed.

San Diego State will face, at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort, Michigan on Monday, November 24 and Oregon on Tuesday, November 25 at 7:30 p.m. PT and 8 p.m. PT, respectively. Seeding for each of the 18 participating team’s third game will be determined following play of the initial two contests with tiebreakers based on point differential, points scored and points allowed.

San Diego State and Michigan will meet for the second time in program history. The initial meeting was at Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor on December 4, 2021, and resulted in a 72-58 victory for the No. 24-ranked Wolverines. Matt Bradley led the Scarlet and Black with 22 points, two assists and two steals.

SDSU trails in the all-time series with Oregon, 3-4, however the only meeting since December 2, 1997, was at last year’s Players Era Festival, a 78-68 win for the Ducks. BJ Davis led the Aztecs offense with 18 points and three assists. This will be the third time the programs have met on a neutral floor, with Oregon holding a 2-0 advantage having won 91-89 on December 17, 1977, at the Dayton Invitational in Dayton, Ohio.

Overall, against the current lineup of Big Ten programs, SDSU has a 25-42 record, but since the start of the 2019-20 campaign, Aztecs are 2-2 against the conference.

TNT, TruTV and HBO Max are the broadcast partners for the event and ticket availability will be announced at a later date.
