COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Adryana Quezada of the San Diego State women’s basketball team was named the Mountain West Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.

Quezada (Frisco, Texas) scored 19 points on 9-for-12 shooting to help the Aztecs beat Boise State 74-59 in the Mountain West opener Sunday afternoon.

Quezada’s 19 points came in just 22 minutes. She also had five rebounds.

It’s Quezada’s third time winning the Mountain West Player of the Week award and second time as an Aztec (also at Utah State in the 2021-22 season).

On the year, Quezada is leading the team in points per game (11.3) and field goal percentage (54.3%).

This is SDSU’s fifth Mountain West Weekly award. They have previously won four Freshman of the Week awards with Nat Martinez and Naomi Panganiban each winning twice.
