ARLINGTON, Texas – Djibril Doumbia of the San Diego State men’s soccer team has been named the WAC Goalkeeper of the Week after he shutout Air Force Sunday in SDSU’s 2-0 win. This is Doumbia’s second straight Goalkeeper of the Week award.

Doumbia has recorded four straight shutouts and has six clean sheets in his eight WAC matches. In conference play, he leads the WAC in shutouts per game (0.75), goals allowed average (0.25) and save percentage (.905).

The Aztecs went undefeated in the WAC (7-0-1) and won the regular season championship. As the No. 1 seed, they receive a bye to the semifinals where they will play the winner of No. 4 seed Utah Valley and No. 5 seed San Jose State Nov. 13 at Grand Canyon.
