SAN DIEGO – San Diego State women’s tennis announced on Thursday the addition of Vessa Turley to its 2025-26 roster.
The Scottsdale, Ariz. native is highly decorated in both singles and doubles at the USTA Junior and ITF levels. She has won two gold and one silver ball at USTA national events in addition to winning 15 ITF titles, including 13 in doubles and two in singles.
“Vessa is going to be a fantastic addition to our program, both personally and athletically,” says Head Coach Peter Mattera. “She has had tremendous success at every level. She already has a college tennis mindset and personality so she will be ready to hit the ground running next fall.”
Turley joins a program that has won two of the last three Mountain West Championships and is set to join the Pac-12 for the 2026-27 season.
