HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – The San Diego State women’s golf finished the second round at the University of Denver’s Ron Moore Intercollegiate Friday. After 36 holes, the Aztecs are in fifth place after shooting a one-under-par 575. They were led by Anika Sato who is tied for second place who is seven-under-par with a 137.
Sato followed up her career-tying low 68 with a three-under-par 69 Saturday. She had just one bogey on the day to go with four birdies.
Stephanie Barbaglia also carded an under-par round with a 70 (-2) Saturday. She was three-under-par on the back nine and had just two bogeys on the day.
Ema Narita shot a two-over-par 74 Saturday with a pair of birdies to offset four bogeys.
Freshman Kylie Phi rounded out the scoring for the Aztecs with a 77 Saturday.
Emma Delwes shot an 82 after posting a career-low 73 Friday.
Kansas State is in the lead with a 12-under-par 564. Minnesota’s Isabella McCauley holds the individual lead with a 10-under-par 134.
