LAS VEGAS – San Diego State men’s tennis wrapped up the second day of the Mountain West Fall Qualifier, ending their stay in the tournament’s main draw.
After a first-round win by Mathieu Josserand and Alexander Mandma, the duo competed against Nevada’s Lucas Hammond and Youssef Kadiri in Thursday’s doubles quarterfinal. It was a back-and-forth clash, but the Aztecs came up just short, downed 7-8 (4-7).
Competing in a consolation match, Paul Janson posted a 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 win against UNLV’s Roberto Hernandez.
