San Diego State men’s tennis is gearing up for the final weekend of its fall schedule, sending four Aztecs to the Dennis Rizza Intercollegiate Classic and three to the Triton Fall Invitational.

SAN DIEGO – San Diego State men’s tennis is gearing up for the final weekend of its fall schedule, sending four Aztecs to the Dennis Rizza Intercollegiate Classic and three to the Triton Fall Invitational.

Seniors Mathieu Josserand, Alexander Mandma and Liam Spiers, along with freshman Denis Maijorov are set to play in the Dennis Rizza Classic at the Jack Kramer Club in Rolling Hills Estates, Calif. beginning Friday.

Philipp Bosse, Marc Kleber and Paul Janson are the second group competing this weekend, heading up the road to represent the Aztecs at the Triton Fall Invitational, hosted by UC San Diego at the Northview Tennis Courts.

Both tournaments will take place Friday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 3.

Josserand leads the Aztecs with four wins this fall, two of which he picked up in his last outing at the ITA Southwest Regional Championships.

Bosse, a sophomore transfer out of Florida Gulf University, will be making his first appearance as an Aztec.
