SAN DIEGO – San Diego State has announced its promotions for Saturday’s Homecoming game against Washington State at Snapdragon Stadium. The game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. PT and broadcasted live on CBS Sports Network. Saturday’s game is sponsored by the San Diego State Alumni.
Parking lots at Snapdragon Stadium open five hours before kickoff (2:30 p.m.) while the stadium gates open two hours prior (5:30 p.m.).
All San Diego State students through the gates will receive free SDSU pom poms. In continuing their support of the local military, SDSU will honor members of the U.S. Navy.
This week fans will be able to participate in an interactive cell phone light show at the end of the third quarter. For more information on how to join the show, visit goaztecs.com/lightshow.
The River Park Block Party opens at 2:30 with a DJ playing from 2:30-4:30 p.m. PT before a live band takes the stage at 4:30 p.m. and playing until the party closes at 7 p.m.
Other activations at the block party include a Kids Zone with a prize wheel, temporary tattoos, face painter, a 360-degree photo booth, food and beverage garden, big screen TVs with other college football games playing, helmet throne, yard games and free posters while supplies last.
The Warrior Walk, in its new location will parade through all the action in the newly-minted River Park and the Yellow Lot beginning at 5:15 p.m. Fans, friends and family members are encouraged to cheer on the team as they exit the buses and walk north toward Snapdragon Stadium. Fans can mingle with the San Diego State spirit squads, including cheerleaders, dance team and band, before watching the Aztecs get ready to do battle inside the stadium.

The Pre-Game at the Plaza will be from 4:30-7 p.m. at the stadium trolley plaza. There, fans will be able to enjoy a student DJ, yard games and student giveaways. While it is geared for SDSU students, all fans are welcome to join.
The Aztecs’ Honor Warrior, presented by Aztec Link, this week is linebacker Kyahva Tezino. Tezino was a four-year letter winner for the Aztecs from 2016-19, helping the program to three double-digit winning seasons, four bowl appearances and a conference title in 2016. Tezino, who as a two-time first-team all-Mountain West selection and three-time MW Defensive Player of the Week pick, is just the sixth Aztec in program history to earn multiple team MVP honors when he won the award in both 2018 and 2019. Tezino is ranked 11th all-time at San Diego State with 290 tackles.
