SAN DIEGO – Head women’s golf coach Lauren Dobashi has announced San Diego State’s schedule for the 2024-25 season. The 11-tournament slate is highlighted by tournaments at famed courses Chambers Bay and Kā’anapali.

The Aztecs will kick off their fall season September 16-17 at the Leadership and Golf Invitational, which is co-hosted by Seattle and Washington, and played at Chambers Bay Golf Course. SDSU placed 11th (out of 19 schools) at this tournament last year and was led by Ema Narita’s two-over-par 218, which was good for 15th place. Chambers Bay is located on the shores of Puget Sound and is the only course in the Northwest to host a men’s U.S. Open.

The following weekend SDSU will head to Fort Collins, Colo. to play in the Colonel Wollenberg Ram Classic hosted by Colorado State. This is the first of two consecutive tournaments played in Colorado.

For the third straight year the Aztecs will play in the University of Denver’s Ron Moore Intercollegiate (Oct. 4-6). Last year Stephanie Barbaglia paced SDSU with a one-over-par 217.

The final tournament of the fall season will be the Stanford Intercollegiate hosted by Dr. Condoleezza Rice Oct. 18-20. This begins a stretch of five consecutive tournaments played in California.

The Aztecs will begin the spring season with a head-to-head competition against Long Beach State although the date and location is still being finalized.

SDSU’s annual home tournament, the San Diego State Classic, will be Feb. 10-11. The Aztecs’ home course, The Farms Golf Club, is undergoing renovation so this year’s tournament will be played at The Heights Golf Club in Rancho Bernardo. SDSU has hosted a tournament every year since 2013.

Two weeks later the Aztecs will play in the Causeway Invitational at Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento. The tournament is co-hosted by UC Davis and Sacramento State.

March 10-11, SDSU plays in the Yale Invitational West at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif.

Beginning March 24, the Aztecs are in Maui for the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational which will be played at Kā’anapali in Lahaina.

SDSU will wrap up their regular season at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the University of Georgia. It is the third straight year the Aztecs have played in this tournament. Narita and Barbaglia both earned top-30 finishes there last year.

For the 13th straight year, the Mountain West Championships (April 15-17) will take place at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage Calif.
