Aztec Lacrosse Travels to Berkley to Face Cal

SAN DIEGO – The Aztec Lacrosse team will face Cal in a conference matchup Saturday April 20th at 11 a.m. PT for their second to last regular season game. The game will be streamed on the Pac-12 Mountain Network.

Aztec Tidbits

  • The Aztecs last game was a 13-12 win against Oregon at home.
  • Sara Toner (Reston, Va.) leads the Aztecs with 34 points, including a team high 31 goals and three assists.
  • Toner leads the Aztecs in shots (67), shots on goal (48), and free position goals (7). She also had the game winning goal against Xavier.
  • The Aztecs have 35 assists on 136 goals, with Kate Christos (Madison, N.J.) leading the charge with eight assists.

They are tied for the sixth most saves in a single game by a DI player so far this season and the second most in SDSU history. 
  • Dyer, alongside Christos, leads the Aztecs with 17 ground balls.
  • Boughton is 21st in the nation in Saves per Game with 9.15, 25th in the nation in save percentage (0.465), and 26th in the nation in saves (119). She is eighth in SDSU history for most saves in a season.
  • The Aztecs have an eight game winning streak against Cal, winning nine of the last 10 face-offs.
  • The Aztecs return home for Senior Day against USC on April 27.
