Feyerabend Begins Hepatathlon at Mt. SAC Relays

SAN DIEGO Jenna Fee Feyerabend began San Diego State's week at the Mt. SAC Relays on Wednesday competing in the elite heptathlon invitational portion of the meet. The field did the 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200m dash on the first day of the meet.
 
Her day started with a time of 14.20 in the 100m hurdles, finishing 16th and totaling 950 points. The field went into the high jump next where she cleared 1.70m (5-7) for a season best mark, sixth place finish and 855 points toward the heptathlon standings.
 
Event number three was the shot put where she had a throw of 13.68m (44-10.75), just shy of her personal best. It was good for eighth place and 773 points. Day one ended with the 200m dash, finishing 14th at 25.65 for her second season best mark of the day.
 
Feyerabend currently sits in 14th overall in the standings with 3,406 points through the first four events. The final three events will take place tomorrow beginning with long jump at 11 a.m.
