Aztecs Through Two Rounds at MW Championship

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – The San Diego State women's golf team finished up the second round of the Mountain West Championship Wednesday. The Aztecs are tied for eighth after 36 holes with a 602 (+26).
 
SDSU is led by Stephanie Barbaglia, who is tied for eighth place with an even par 144. She shot a one-over-par 73 Wednesday, recording 15 pars to go with a birdie and two bogeys.
 
Emma Narita is tied for 14th place through two rounds. After shooting a two-under-par 70 Tuesday, she shot a four-over-par 76 Wednesday. She had a birdie and three bogeys on both the front and back nine.
 
Barbaglia had a team-high four birdies to offset three bogeys. After 18 holes, she is tied for seventh place.
 
Anna Lina Otten, Anika Sato and Nikki Kato are all tied with a 157 (+13). Otten had the best score Wednesday out of that trio with a 79 aided by a team-high four birdies. Sato carded an 80 and Kato shot an 81.
 
San Jose State holds a nine-stroke lead through 36 holes with a eight-under-par 568. New Mexico's Lauren Lehigh is the individual leader (139, -5).
