SAN DIEGO – The Aztec Lacrosse team plays it's final non-conference game against Dartmouth on Friday March 15 at 5pm. They will then have their PAC-12 Conference opener against ASU at Snapdragon Stadium on Sunday March 17 at Noon. Tickets are still available for the Snapdragon game. Both games will be streamed on the Aztec Women's Lacrosse Youtube channel.

Aztec Tidbits

  • The Aztecs last game was a 20-9 loss against Liberty at home.
  • Sara Toner (Reston, Va.) leads the team with 19 points from 17 goals and two assists, as well as in shots (37) and shots on goal (27). She also had the game winning goal against Xavier.
  • Jenna McDermott (Westminster, Md.), in her first year at SDSU after playing at UMBC for four seasons, is leading the team in free-position goals with six. She is 8th in the nation in shot percentage (0.684).
  • The Aztecs have 21 assists on 81 goals, with Kate Christos (Madison, N.J.) leading the charge with six assists.
  • Christos also leads the team in draw controls with 24.
  • Mia Kohn (San Diego, Calif.) leads the Aztecs with eight caused turnovers.
  • Goalkeeper Avery Dyer (Elkridge, Md.) made 19 saves in the game against UC Davis and Caitlin Boughton (South Riding, Va.) tied Dyer with 19 saves in the game against Liberty, the fourth most by a DI player so far this season and the second most in SDSU history.
  • Dyer leads the Aztecs with 14 ground balls, followed by Boughton with 12.
  • The Aztecs continue conference play up in Northern California as they take on UC Davis.
