FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – A total of four San Diego State divers concluded their stay at the 2024 NCAA Zone E Championships on Wednesday after completing the platform event at Northern Arizona University's Wall Aquatic Center.

Junior Valentina Lopez Arevalo was the lone Aztec participant to qualify for the final round, placing 12th out of 18 divers with an aggregate 457.55 points after finishing 11th in the preliminaries with 230.55 points.

Earlier in the day, sophomore Taylor Konopacke (201.20) and junior Summer Westmoreland (199.95) were slotted 25th and 26th in the preliminary round, respectively, while junior Olivia Zamudio (190.55) rounded out the SDSU delegation in 34th place.

San Diego State will have two swimmers compete in the NCAA Championships, set for March 20-23 in Athens, Georgia.

The Aztecs' Alex Roberts is slated to participate in the 100 and 200 backstroke, as well as the 100 butterfly, while Christiana Williams will race in the 100 and 200 backstroke. Both competitors will be making their second straight NCAA appearances.
