SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State men's tennis team will host the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Monday, March 11. The match will begin at 2 p.m. at the Aztec Tennis Center.
San Diego State (7-2) has won five of its last six matches. The Aztecs have also won five of six matches on The Mesa. The lone loss came in the team's last match when Loyola Marymount came back for a 4-3 win. San Diego State was without Robin Parts in that match, who missed it due to an illness.
The Scarlet and Black have won the doubles point in seven of nine matches, with the duos of Alexander Mandma/Robin Parts (6-0, court 1) and Eugenio Gonzalez Fitzmaurice/Bora Sengul (4-1, court 3) leading the way for SDSU. Parts is also undefeated in singles with a 6-0 record.
Gonzaga (4-3) beat UC San Diego on Sunday, March 10, to bounce back a 6-1 loss at Washington on February 25. In the teams' lone previous meeting, No. 47-ranked Gonzaga won 4-3 on February 26, 2022, at the Aztec Tennis Center. SDSU has faced three West Coast Conference schools already this season and won two of those matches.

Next weekend, San Diego State will host the San Diego Spring Invitational at the Aztec Tennis Center from Friday, March 15, through Sunday, March 17.
